2. What are 3 things that you learned at the meeting? Briefly reflect on each.
- I learned that the next time we meet is September 13th at 3:30 in the Union, room 314.
- I learned that everyone in FLI is awesome, and I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone better. I think that this is going to be an awesome year!
- I learned a lot about what to expect from the program in the year to come, and that I am going to learn so much from the program and from all of you :)
3. My name is Alyssa, obviously, and this is my 4th and final year at BG. I am a Psychology major with a minor in Ethnic Studies. I am an RA in Mac this year, and this is my 3rd year as an RA, which must mean that I like it. I am also involved in USG (Undergraduate Student Government), where I am the senator for the College of Arts and Sciences, Dance Marathon, which I will talk your ear off about, the Get Involved Team, and FLI, of course. I am also in Women's Chorus, and I am planning on joining the BG Equestrian Team this year. I am looking forward to meeting everyone in the program, as well as graduating. I will also be applying to a lot of Grad schools this year, and I plan on getting my Masters in Social Work or Student Affairs after I graduate. So I suppose that is something I'm looking forward to and am afraid of. A goal that I have is to have a 4.0 GPA for my first time at college. I always come close, but I've never actually done it.
4. My definition of leadership is making people better by your presence, and ensuring that the change endures even after you are gone.
